Frank Haarlander, CPA, MS-Tax, MBA
We understand that good people sometimes have IRS tax problems due to circumstances beyond their control. Persons who lose their job, become seriously ill and incur huge medical bills, go through a difficult divorce, business downturns, or lose a loved one, may fall behind in their tax obligations through no fault of their own. They want to resolve their tax problems, but find themselves unable to meet the current demands of the IRS. The IRS is the world’s most powerful collection agency as it can garnish your wages, take the funds out of your bank account, and place liens on your property which can damage your credit rating. Then there is the fear that the IRS may knock on your door, or even the doors of your neighbors, in its efforts to collect taxes you owe.
Frank Haarlander, a CPA, is a co-founder of Keystone Financial Solutions, Inc. located in Exton, PA. His firm’s focus is to enable individuals and small business owners to succeed by ensuring that they use effective tax strategies to pay the lowest taxes allowed by law and to resolve taxpayers’ IRS tax debt problems.
One of Frank’s specialties is helping individuals and business owners resolve their IRS tax issues, including helping individuals become current with their tax filings and negotiating a payment plan with the IRS to help those who owe the IRS back taxes. He co-authored the book "Fight The IRS! And Win!!! How To Pay The IRS What You Can Afford, Not What You Owe!"
Frank is a member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers (ASTPS) which is a non-profit association that requires its members to be held to the highest ethical standards and to demonstrate a proficiency in tax resolution services. As a member of ASTPS, he consults with a network of the leading tax resolution experts in the country who are CPAs, Enrolled Agents, and Tax Attorneys. The reason Frank specializes in tax resolution services is that he receives much personal satisfaction helping good people who have fallen upon difficult times to get back to living a normal life without the fear of the IRS garnishing their wages or levying their assets.
Frank was a Tax and Audit Attest Consultant for Price WaterhouseCoopers, a prestigious international accounting, tax and consulting firm, and held the Vice President of Tax or Tax Director senior tax officer position with several Fortune 500 companies, including GE Capital and Time Warner Communications.
Frank earned his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University, a Masters in Accounting from the Rutgers Graduate School of Business, and a Masters in Tax Degree from Villanova University’s School of Law.
His contributions to the community include serving on Paoli Hospital’s Planned Giving Committee and volunteering as a SCORE mentor and presenter. SCORE is a nonprofit association dedicated to helping small business develop and achieve their goals and is supported by the U.S. Small Business Association (SBA). He has spoken before the Chamber of Commerce and business associations on various tax and business topics. He is a former adjunct professor at undergraduate accounting and graduate tax programs.
